High School Famine Concert

This year we will have GMA New Band of the Year, Rough Draft playing. The concert will be held in the Woodland Park High School gym. Rough Draft is from Ft. Collins, CO and just finished producing a new EP with American Idol Chirs Sligh in Nashville, TN. Known for their high energy shows and relentless tour schedule (they were doing over 100 shows a year while still in High School), Rough Draft is sure to get you rocking! Want more information on Rough Draft, check their website. They’ve also got a MySpace to listen to their tunes.
What is the Famine?

30 Hour Famine is an international youth movement to fight hunger. It will bring youth closer together, feed hungry children, and change our world forever. Students fast for thirty hours and raise funds to help feed and care for children around the world. By sacrificing and serving others, they are learning to think outside themselves!
The Woodland Park Famine will have both Junior High and Senior High events this year. We’ve got the schools, mayor and local churches involved. This is gonna be huge! The dates for the Famine are March 13-14, 2009.
Make sure to keep checking this site for more information on activities, locations, service projects and the Famine Concerts (yeah, we said concerts!)
